ASIST is a two-day workshop that teaches how to intervene and save a life from suicide. Over a million people around the world have participated in this award-winning program. Most people thinking about suicide don’t actually want to die, but they need help deciding to stay alive. You don’t need any prior training to attend ASIST—just a willingness to make a difference.
When: Thursday, September 28th and Friday, September 29th, 2023
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Must attend both days.)
Where: Bethany United Methodist Church
2875 Bethany Lane, Ellicott City, MD
Cost: $25 per person for people who live or work in Howard County. $100 per person for those outside of Howard County. Cost includes lunch. Registration closes Friday, September 15th at 5 p.m.
