Evening Activity for Residents of Men's Shelter

Items can be dropped off any time at our main location at 6700 Freetown Road in Columbia. Please be sure to fill out a donation slip so that we may properly acknowledge your donation. For any other types of items please contact the shelter office at 410-531-6006 or e-mail to

What we need:


Immediate Needs

The following are items that we particularly need this month:

In the kitchen:

• Apple and grape juice (juice boxes or large size)
• Snack foods for after school (puddings, apple sauce, granola bars, canned fruit, chips, Capri sun drinks etc.)
• Ground Coffee for Automatic Drip Coffeemakers
• Canned soups and microwavable meals
• Sugar packets and coffee creamer

In the Shelter:

• Brand New Bed Pillows
• Twin Size Sheets (gently used OK)
• Blankets (Twin and Full Size)
• Baby Wipes
• Clorox or Lysol Wipes & Disinfectant spray
• Laundry detergent pods
• Body Wash and Body Lotion (Full Size)
• Deodorant for men and women
• Cough and Cold Medicine for adults and children

For Crisis Services:

• For Crisis Pantry: Progresso soups, shelf stable milk, jelly, tuna, pasta, pasta sauce, canned fruit.

• $25 Sunoco Gas Cards for walk-in clients needing help with gas to get to work

• 10-$20 Gift Cards to Giant or Walmart for walk-in clients needing food
