Food Drive for Grassroots at Owen Brown Giant Is Successful

Volunteers solicit grocery shoppers to support crisis intervention center and shelter for the homeless

A food drive for Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center at the Owen Brown Giant included volunteers (from l.) Grassroots, the county 24-7 crisis intervention center, provides meals for 55 people three times a day at its shelter on Freetown Road in Columbia. For information, visit www.grassrootscrisis.org .
