Grassroots is seeking volunteers for both the Crisis Intervention Center and Shelter in Columbia and for the Day Resource Center in Jessup, according to Grassroots Volunteer Coordinator Monteith Mitchell.

Volunteers are needed to serve as Office Assistants in Columbia on Thursdays and Fridays for two-hour shifts between 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Two volunteers age 18 and over are needed at the Day Resource Center to serve as Showers and Laundry Monitors to assist a limited number of guests with shower and laundry supplies. One volunteer is needed for Wednesdays, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and two for Saturdays, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
