Mission BBQ Donates Red Cup Proceeds to Grassroots

Restaurant honors local community’s first responders

Mission BBQ in Columbia’s Dobbin Center recently donated $2,521.11 to Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center from its Hometown Hero Red Cup Sales, which honor first responders. Mission BBQ supports organizations chosen by local fire and police departments in the community. Mission BBQ staff members (from l.) Nathan Finkelsen, John Kendrick and Community Ambassador Maryrose Casazza presented the contribution to Anna Katz, Grants and Development Manager for Grassroots. Mission BBQ has been a generous and frequent contributor to Grassroots and to police, fire, military and other organizations.
