Kokopelli is hosting “A Kindred Hearts-Community Celebration” to benefit Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 1-7 p.m., at the store in the Mall in Columbia.
Kokopelli will contribute 10 per cent of sales on all purchases made during the celebration. In addition, 100 per cent of raffle proceeds will be donated to the 24-hour crisis counseling and homeless shelter. Customers will receive a gift with any purchase or donation made during the event.
Refreshments, including cake and Rita’s Italian ice, will be served. Representatives of Grassroots will be present to talk with customers.
Kokopelli is a one-of-a-kind boutique featuring clothing, jewelry, hand bags and home décor from Italy, France, Morocco, India and the Czech Republic.
