Students at Reservoir High School held a Zumbathon to raise funds for their Change Matters campaign to benefit Grassroots.

Change Matters, the student philanthropy and community service initiative designed to raise funds and awareness of Grassroots’ crisis services, has been launched for the 2013-2014 school year. A Zumbathon has taken place at Reservoir High School, and Ellicott Mills Middle School hosted its 3rd annual walkathon on Oct. 15. Murray Hill Middle School is hosting a Change Matters Music Concert, featuring the school’s Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, 7th/8th Grade Band and Jazz Band, on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 7:30-9 p.m. at the school, 9989 Winter Sun Road in Laurel. The public is invited to attend free of charge; donations to Grassroots will be accepted.
